Eating disorder can lead to two main problems one being overweight
and another underweight. Both are serious problems for any human being.
Let us now study both the problems together.
Person being overweight or underweight can suffer from many health
problems. Carrying those extra pounds can stain your back, muscles,
heart and even mental health. If you think being overweight is bad and
start dieting to be skinny that is also not good. Eating disorder can
lead to anorexia nervosa and bulimia. In anorexia nervosa person is on
liquid diet and in bulimia person vomits everything before the food get a
chance to digest. This eating disorder will harm the digestion system
and many other health problems like – low blood pressure, heart problem,
tooth decaying, loss of menstruation cycle, blood poising, and can lead
to depression. When person does not eat properly body starves for
nutrients, and will not be able to provide body movement. Anorexia
nervosa and bulimia both are unhealthy. If our body does not get vital
nutrients brain will stop working. Controlling your weight does not mean
to be underweight or skinny. Some people can not stop themselves from
eating. They eat large amount of unhealthy food like potato chips, high
calorie beverages this can lead to high risk of cholesterol problem,
high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity and gallbladder disease. Due to
over eating body does not get proper time to digest the food, if the
food is not digested properly it will turn into fat which will get
accumulated in our body and increase your weight. Our body needs
nutrition in proper and balanced amount. Provide 3-4 hours gap between
every meal you take.
When going for grocery shopping make wise decision to choose items which
can give you nutrients and health. You can alter you list –in place of
deep fried potato chips go for baked potato chips. When feeling hungry
do not crab ice - cream cones instead go for fruit salads. Include lot
of vegetable soups and fruit juices in your diet. So, that your body
gets sufficient nutrients. Do not eat more nor eat less, eat proper and
balanced diet to avoid danger of eating disorder.
