Before operating nebulizer wash your hands with soap and warm water and dry it completely. Then turn on compressor switch; now you will see a light mist coming from the back of the tube opposite the mouthpiece. You should sit straight on a comfortable chair. You can stop once medication is over. This process takes seven to ten minutes. If while taking treatment you feel dizzy or jittery turn the compressor off take rest for five minutes then start with rest of your treatment. This treatment removes all the block of the lungs and helps you to breadth properly.

How to clean Nebulizer-

Cleaning of nebulizer equipment is simple yet important. Before cleaning the nebulizer make sure that your nebulizer machine is in off mode. Nebulizer machine should be cleaned in dust-smoke free area away from windows. Wash the nebulizer cup in warm water, rinse well and let it dry completely. Unplug the compressor before cleaning. The tube that connects the nebulizer to the air compressor should not be cleaned. Never put nebulizer equipments into a dishwasher. Give the compressor in a cool, dry place covered with a piece if cloth.

Asthma patient should remember to carry portable nebulizer with them when traveling on air. When air pressure goes down asthma patient can use portable nebulizer to breadth well.
